Arkanoid: Space Ball is a shareware computer game for the PC first released on December 10, 2006 by 'WE' Group as a follow up to the widely popular game Krakout. Like the original, it is patterned after classic ball-and-paddle arcade games such as Breakout and Arkanoid.

Arkanoid: Space Ball will be a surprise for the amateurs of unusual and picturesque games as Arkanoid and space games. Everybody who wishes to spend time perfectly will take a pleasure in Arkanoid: Space Ball too. A futuristic atmosphere, modern techno-style graphics, a dynamical gameplay and an excellent soundtrack give this game as a present for all Arkanoid’s admirers.

Throughout the game, there are many bonus objectives, such as rocket launcher, laser cannon, and there are many bonus levels, which help you get more points. In many levels there are little hazardous monsters and cannons which can freeze or invert your paddle.

To control paddle, you move the mouse up and down while collecting items to make the ball or paddle bigger, to transform paddle in to rocket launcher or laser cannon. Use right mouse button to shot or to release balls. Right mouse button allow you to use previously collected bonuses. Do not forget, you can choose bonus you wish to use.

[edit] List of Power-Ups

  • Split balls - This bonus doubles number of your balls.
  • Fireballs - Your ball will burn through bricks for 8 seconds.
  • Ghost balls - ATTENTION! Your ball will crossing through bricks for 8 seconds. (Bad bonus!)
  • Expand ball - This bonus increases your ball size.
  • Shrink ball - ATTENTION! This bonus decreases your ball size. (Bad bonus!)
  • Magnet - This bonus make magnetic paddle. Useful for more accuracy aiming
  • Plazma canon - One–shot plasma cannon. A disposable shot of this cannon burns through all bricks.
  • Rocket launcher - Rocket launcher with 8 rockets. Every rocket blows up some bricks around.
  • Laser - Laser gun for 40 shots. The one shot destroys the one 1-hit brick.
  • Engine - Allow paddle to fly. Be careful, Kamikaze and Fiery meteorite within!
  • Expand paddle - This bonus increases your paddle size.
  • Shrink paddle - ATTENTION! This bonus decreases your paddle size. (Bad bonus!)
  • Force field - Force field. You will not worry about your ball for 30 seconds.
  • Clock - ATTENTION! This bonus slows down time for 30 seconds.
  • Nuclear bomb - This bonus decreases all bricks to 1-hit-bricks and kills all monsters.
